Ulinzi Stars FC beat struggling Gor Mahia FC in a low scoring match played on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru as Nairobi City Stars FC bow to Bidco FC in the on-going Betking Kenya Premier League matches.
Alex Masinde of Ulinzi Stars FC scored the lone goal that separated the two teams in the 20th minute. Both teams tried to scores goals but Gor Mahia FC was unable to find the equalizing goal ending the match in 1-0 win for the Ulinzi Stars FC.
In form, Bidco FC humbled Nairobi City Stars FC at Hope Centre Soccer Grounds in Nairobi s beating them 2-1 in a high scoring match.
David Orem opened the scoring for Bidco FC in the 26th minute, which was the only goal at halftime, while David Gateri extended the lead for the visitors after finding the back of the net in the 64th minute.
Nairobi City Stars FC reduced the deficit in the 81 minute with Ezekiel Odera calmly converting a penalty kick but time was not on their side as the game ended with final whistle from the referee.
